Crafting A Personalised Bookmarks Homepage

As an ardent believer in keeping things organised, I have always found the chaos of aimlessly searching for information, whether it’s links or shortcuts, an unnecessary hassle. This has particularly been the case when navigating the default bookmark menus integrated into many browsers - their tangled web of menus and sub-menus leaves a lot to be desired.
In response, I sought a solution. I discovered a myriad of dedicated services built specifically for this predicament, offering easy access across various devices and browsers. Yet, given that the bulk of my work doesn’t require the use of phones or tablets, a simple static file proved to be an apt choice for me.
A few years back, I stumbled upon a rudimentary template, which, after several style modifications to suit my preference, resulted in the creation of my personalised Bookmarks homepage.
On introducing this tool for my personal use, it garnered a wave of interest among my colleagues, leading me to share it as an archive. I have now transitioned to hosting it on Github for ease of accessibility and modification.
Feel free to explore and modify it according to your requirements, which can be found at my Github repository.
While it currently does not automatically switch between dark and light mode themes, I intend to introduce this dynamic feature in the future.
Stay safe!
Update: 23-Jun-2023:
I have now updated the code with a Dark
and Night
toggle. Please feel free to explore.
